Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role providing essential speech-language services during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This contract opportunity is perfect for skilled speech-language pathologists passionate about helping K-12 students thrive academically and socially. Located near Clarks Summit, this role offers a structured schedule—Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:45 am to 12:15 pm, with orientation set for Monday, June 29th. The assignment runs from June 29th through August 6th, focusing on continued growth and communication support during the summer session.
Key Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania SLP Educator License required Previous experience working in a school environment preferred Strong knowledge of evaluation and therapy techniques tailored for school-aged children Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to organize manageable caseloads and maintain detailed documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to eligible ESY students Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans and IEPs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to enhance student outcomes Document progress, maintain records, and participate in team meetings as needed Contribute to a supportive and positive summer learning environment The opportunity offers competitive hourly rates from $38 to $45, reflecting your specialization and commitment within the educational setting.
