Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity tailored for skilled Physical Therapists passionate about school-based care. This Extended School Year (ESY) assignment, located near Clarks Summit, PA, allows you to make a meaningful difference for students, all while working a convenient part-time schedule. Your expertise will be essential in supporting students' mobility and functional skills so they can fully access their educational experience. You'll work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:45 am to 12:15 pm, providing therapy and collaborating with educators to develop individualized student care. Orientation is scheduled for Monday, June 29th, and the assignment runs through August 6th.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania SLP Educator License is required Previous experience delivering Physical Therapy services in a school-based or pediatric environment preferred Ability to create and implement individualized therapy plans Strong teamwork and communication skills Compassionate approach to engaging students with special needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and design targeted therapy interventions for K-12 students Document treatment sessions and monitor progress towards goals Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to integrate therapy within student learning plans Communicate regularly with families regarding progress and strategies for ongoing support Maintain compliance with federal, state, and school regulations This role offers a pay range of $38-$45 per hour, rewarding your experience and commitment to helping students thrive during the summer session.
