School-Based SLP | Bloomfield, New Jersey ProCare Therapy - 3.9 Bloomfield, NJ Job Details Contract $42.13 - $72.13 an hour Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting near Bloomfield, NJ. Two distinct roles are available—one providing maternity leave coverage and another focusing exclusively on Pre-K level care. Both offer the chance to positively impact young learners during a vital stage of their development. These positions begin as soon as possible and extend through June 25th, with extended school year services not required at this time.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Prior experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings preferred Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team Strong communication and collaboration skills Familiarity with IEP development and implementation is beneficial
Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted speech and language therapy to students based on IEP goals Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate regularly with educators and families Adapt therapeutic approaches tailored to individual student needs, especially at the Pre-K level Collaborate with onsite SLPs and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care
