Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist working in a supportive educational setting near Rochester, MI. This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced SLPs with CCC who thrive in dynamic environments and are committed to fostering student development across diverse needs. Your expertise will be essential in serving four self-contained caseloads, each presenting unique learning profiles and communication needs. You'll collaborate with dedicated educators and support staff to implement targeted interventions and help every student reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP licensure in Michigan Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous experience supporting school-aged children, preferably within self-contained settings Ability to address a variety of speech, language, and communication needs Team-oriented with great communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with multiple and complex needs Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual strengths and challenges Assess, monitor, and document student progress Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to maximize student growth Deliver in-service training and resources for staff, supporting best practices in communication Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Working in this role, you'll find a welcoming professional environment that values your input, supports your growth, and recognizes your impact on the students' lives.
