Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in students' lives by providing essential speech-language services in a supportive K-12 environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals dedicated to fostering improved communication skills and helping students achieve their full academic potential. Serving approximately 8-10 hours per week over two days, you'll collaborate with educators and families, ensuring each student receives tailored intervention and support.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision Experience working within a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and effectively manage a flexible, part-time schedule
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students exhibiting speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and parents to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Document and report on student progress, keeping accurate records and meeting compliance requirements Develop engaging therapy plans and adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs Provide consultative support and resources to the educational staff and families Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to collaborative problem solving Enjoy a role designed for meaningful connections with students, a manageable part-time workload, and the satisfaction of contributing your expertise within a school setting.
