Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a dynamic school-based setting! This contract opportunity is perfect for professionals who thrive on supporting students' communication and language development. With three positions available, you'll collaborate with a committed educational team and make a meaningful difference for students ranging from pre-K to 9th grade, with a primary focus on ages 3 through 5th grade. This assignment runs from mid-August to late May, aligning with the school year and providing a fulfilling, structured schedule. Enjoy a full-time workweek, offering both routine and the satisfaction of daily student progress.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required. School-based experience preferred. Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs), and comfort conducting assessments and therapy in educational settings. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Passion for working with children and adolescents, especially those in elementary school.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language assessments for students ages 3 through 9th grade. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans. Deliver direct therapy and consultative services in accordance with IEP goals. Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to support student progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services.
