Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid SLP license for the state of New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate students to identify speech, language, and communication disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students' unique needs Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to support IEP goals Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with state and school guidelines Educate school staff and families about communication strategies and interventions Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations for services and supports Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed
