Key Qualifications:

Active licensure as a Social Worker in New Jersey Proven experience in a middle school setting (preference for candidates beyond new graduate status) Background managing school-based case loads, specifically with middle school students Familiarity with the "Real Time Database" platform used in New Jersey schools, or a willingness to quickly learn this system Strong communication skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary staff Ability to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs with professionalism and empathy

Primary Responsibilities:

Serve as the dedicated case manager for approximately 35 middle school students, supporting their social and emotional growth Coordinate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention strategies Document and maintain accurate student records, leveraging the Real Time Database Provide crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, and referrals as necessary Advocate for students' needs at school meetings and participate in IEP development as needed
