Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by utilizing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply Prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations strongly preferred Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Commitment to collaborative teamwork with educators, families, and related service providersKey Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, ensuring goals align with each student's unique needs Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services, both individually and in small groups Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student success Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all relevant district, state, and federal guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities Working as a contract SLP in a vibrant educational community allows you to focus on what you do best: empowering students through evidence-based interventions and heartfelt guidance.
