Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact in the lives of students as an in-person speech-language pathologist supporting a diverse prek-8th caseload. This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for a licensed professional who brings both expertise and passion to a school-based setting.
Key Qualifications:
Holds active California speech-language pathology credential Possesses current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Minimum of two years' experience in a school-based SLP position, supporting student growth and communication needs Skilled in delivering evidence-based therapy across various ages and abilities Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy, assessment, and intervention services for prek-8th grade students with varied speech and language needs Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain accurate documentation of student progress Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other related service providers to support student goals Conduct thorough evaluations, re-evaluations, and participate in eligibility meetings as required Deliver engaging and age-appropriate therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups Participate in staff meetings, IEP conferences, and ongoing professional development
