Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Empower elementary students as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year! This rewarding full-time opportunity focuses exclusively on school-based therapy, supporting students in their communication and language development during a critical learning stage. You'll work within a collaborative environment providing both direct and indirect speech services, without extra duties outside your contract hours—your time and expertise are truly valued.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders NC SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain) CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Experience with elementary student populations highly preferred Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students in a supportive school setting Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with special education staff, classroom teachers, and parents to ensure student progress Document student performance and maintain compliant records Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success strategies Provide both direct and indirect speech services, fully supported through guaranteed contracted hours No bus duty, lunch monitoring, or non-therapy district tasks required
