Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a significant impact supporting K-12 students across a variety of school settings in a rewarding, contract-based opportunity as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist. This position offers a dynamic work environment within a respected Special Education district for the 2026-2027 school year. Multiple openings are available, with assignments tailored to each SLP's experience level, ensuring you'll find the right fit—whether your passion is with early learners or older students.
Key qualifications and skills needed:
Active Michigan SLP license required (candidates will be asked to provide a screenshot as part of the screening process)
ASHA CCC
credentials strongly preferred Previous experience in a school-based setting or working with K-12 student populations Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities Role responsibilities include: Evaluating and providing evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students in K-12 Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Progress monitoring and maintaining accurate records Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to foster student growth Participating in team meetings and contributing to the positive culture within the district This is a full-time position of up to 40 hours per week, running from August 24, 2026, through June 10, 2027.
