Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in students' lives by supporting their communication and language development in a rewarding school-based contract role. Using your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist with your Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), you'll collaborate closely with dedicated educators and families to nurture student growth and academic confidence.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for practicing as an SLP in educational settings Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills across a diverse student population Proven ability to deliver services in both group and individual formats Outstanding communication, documentation, and organizational skills Previous experience in schools preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) with student-centered goals Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students with communication challenges Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote inclusive learning environments Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required reports in accordance with school protocols Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and provide guidance on best practices
