Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Empower students and make a lasting impact! A contract opportunity for an experienced School Psychologist is available in a supportive educational setting near Rochelle, GA. This impactful role focuses on helping students reach their full potential by addressing academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.
Key Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification (state-appropriate) Master's degree or higher in School Psychology, Psychology, or related field Experience conducting psychological assessments and interpreting test results Strong knowledge of special education processes and IEP development Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Dedication to supporting the diverse needs of students in a school environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations to support student learning Consult with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop intervention strategies Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services when needed Maintain accurate records and confidential documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines Engage in proactive collaboration with school staff and parents to create supportive plans for student success
