Job Description

Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an exciting contract opportunity supporting students' communication skills in a dynamic school setting! Beginning next school year, we are seeking 1-2 talented and compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to help foster student success and collaboration across the district. This is a full-time contract role conveniently located near Altus, OK. You'll work closely with experienced Speech-Language Pathologists, assisting with therapy sessions, documenting progress, and contributing to student growth. Expect a manageable caseload of no more than 40 students, ensuring you can provide personalized attention and meaningful support.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
Valid SLPA license/certification for Oklahoma (or eligibility to obtain before the school year starts) Experience working in a school setting, with a strong grasp of service delivery in educational environments Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLPs, educators, and other staff Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities Dedication to nurturing student development and supporting diverse learners
Key Responsibilities:
