Qualifications/Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required Valid Minnesota license with clean driving record Successful completion of DOT physical exam Ability to pass a pre employment drug & alcohol screen Successful background check required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:

Successful candidates must be able to work split shift; have skills and aptitude to operate a bus safely; enjoy the presence of children; be reliable and punctual. No experience required

• paid training provided to obtain necessary license and endorsements.

DOT Physical and drug testing are required. Exemplifies the following

Specific Tasks:

To safely and efficiently transport students to and from their school site and/or special events. See the job description for additional information. Hours per day: 4-6 hours per day. Most routes run 6:00 AM

• 9:00 AM, and 1:30 PM
• 4:30 PM As per Bus Driver Agreement

Route Driver Hourly Rate:

$27.00/hour,

Activity/Dept Driver Hourly Rate:

$21.75/hour $500 Hiring incentive for new hires:

Bus Driver:

New employee is paid out $500 when the new employee has worked for 6 consecutive months Incentive does not apply to substitutes Rehires must have one year break in service to be eligible for hiring incentive May become benefit eligible if combined with other positions.
