Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact this summer by providing essential speech-language therapy services to young learners in a vibrant school setting. Focused on Early Childhood Extended School Year (ESY) programming, this contract opportunity is perfect for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about helping children ages birth to five reach developmental milestones. Start your assignment on June 8th, and support students through June 25th. The schedule offers mornings Monday through Thursday, allowing you to enjoy the rest of your summer. Some evaluations for infants and toddlers (birth to age 2) may be required.
Qualifications:
Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY) Prior experience in a school or early childhood setting preferred Familiarity with developmental milestones and early intervention best practices Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skillsResponsibilities:
Conduct group and individual speech therapy sessions for children from birth to age 5 Evaluate and develop targeted treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication needs Complete evaluations for children birth to age 2 as needed Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers for comprehensive care Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP and IFSP processes This is an excellent chance to build your expertise in early intervention while working in a collaborative, positive environment with young children and families.
