Job description Description The school Director is responsible for providing visionary leadership and effective management to ensure the overall success of the school. This position requires a strong educational background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders. The school director will oversee all aspects of the school's operations, curriculum development, staff management, student support, and community engagement. Responsibilities Provide strategic direction and create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for students, staff, and parents. Develop and implement educational policies and programs that align with local, state, and national standards. Supervise and evaluate teaching staff to ensure high-quality instruction and professional growth. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by assessing and analyzing student achievement data to inform instructional decisions and drive academic success. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other staff members to develop and revise the school's curriculum, ensuring alignment with best practices and educational trends. Establish and maintain effective relationships with parents, guardians, and community partners to enhance the school's reputation and support student success. Manage the school's budget, resources, and facilities to ensure efficient operation and maintenance. Recruit, hire, and retain highly qualified staff who are committed to the school's mission and vision. Provide ongoing professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their instructional practices and foster a culture of lifelong learning. Oversee the implementation of special educational programs and services to meet the diverse needs of students. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to education, safety, and student well-being. Serve as an ambassador for the school and actively engage in building positive relationships with external stakeholders, including government officials, community organizations, and other schools. Requirements Bachelor's degree in education or a related field Valid administrator certification or license, or ability to obtain. A minimum of 5 years of successful experience in educational leadership, preferably as a principal or assistant principal. Strong knowledge of educational trends, research, and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders. Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse group of educators and support staff. Experience in budget management and resource allocation. Innovative Thinker Flexible (Ability to PIVOT) Flexible Scheduling (Weekends and Late Days) Excellent Quality of Outcomes (Meeting Deadline, Accountability, follow up/ Follow through) Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment for all students. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on current educational issues.
