Active LPN or RN license required. Demonstrated experience in school or pediatric nursing preferred. Comfortable supporting students with severe epilepsy and specialized medical needs. Skilled in safe transfer techniques (2-person transfers), feeding, dressing, and toileting. Compassionate, dependable, and collaborative spirit.

Essential Responsibilities:

Ride the bus to and from school daily, ensuring the student's well-being in transit. Accompany and support the student throughout the entire school day. Conduct all self-care for the student, including feeding, dressing, and personal hygiene. Manage transfer needs safely, utilizing proper equipment and collaborating as needed. Ensure the student wears a soft shell helmet when out of their wheelchair for protection. Monitor the student's safety in the event of a seizure and respond according to care protocols. Communicate effectively with school staff and healthcare professionals regarding the student's care. This contract position offers a competitive hourly rate between $40 and $50 while making a meaningful difference in a child's school experience.
