This contract opportunity, beginning ASAP through June 3, 2026, offers the chance to provide dedicated support to a 3rd-grade student with medical and mobility needs near Midland, MI. You will work closely with the student throughout the school day, riding the bus with him to and from school—either meeting at the student's home or the District Transportation Center. The student utilizes an oxygen tank and a walker and may need assistance in emergency evacuations, including the use of a stroller. He is able to manage personal toileting independently. Your attentive care and presence in the classroom and transit will ensure safety and provide peace of mind to both the student and his family.

What you bring:

CNA certification or relevant nursing background Previous experience supporting medically fragile children, ideally in a school environment Current CPR certification (strongly preferred) Compassionate personality and a commitment to patient-centered care Ability to monitor and manage medical equipment such as oxygen tanks Dependability and a collaborative approach with educators, transportation staff, and families Physical capability to assist with mobility and emergency procedures Responsibilities include: Providing one-on-one care, supervision, and effective communication with staff and family Monitoring and managing medical needs, including oxygen tank use Ensuring safe transportation on the school bus to and from school Supporting the student in classroom activities as a trusted aide Preparedness in emergency situations to assist with safe evacuations If you're an experienced CNA or nurse who values meaningful, personalized care, this role allows you to make a positive impact every day.
