Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students' growth as an Occupational Therapist this upcoming school year. Located in the Burlington, IL area, this position offers the opportunity to provide meaningful services across two school buildings—one per day—working with elementary and middle grade students. In this role, you will deliver direct occupational therapy services primarily within general education and resource classrooms, as well as support some self-contained special education classes. While this is a full-time, onsite role (37.5 hours per week), qualified part-time therapists will also be considered. The school schedule structure means each day is dynamic and follows a consistent, supportive routine.
Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist license in Illinois Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred Familiarity with sensory integration techniques and creating/implementing student goals Proven ability to track progress and collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsResponsibilities:
Serve students ranging from elementary to middle school ages Provide therapy services, evaluate progress, and document goal attainment Support general education and special education classrooms Work onsite at one campus per day—no travel between buildings during the school day Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational staff You will be employed as a W-2 contract employee and enjoy weekly pay each Friday.
