Key Responsibilities:

Deliver both direct and indirect occupational therapy services as designated by students' IEPs Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify each student's unique needs Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address specific challenges in fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional self-care Work closely alongside teachers, special education teams, and parents to promote coordinated support Participate actively in IEP meetings by offering insights and recommendations for goal-setting Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation while adhering to all state and district requirements

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy Current or eligible Virginia OT license Prior school-based OT experience highly valued, though open to applicants eager to learn and grow in this environment Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
