Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of students by bringing your expertise as a School Occupational Therapist to a welcoming and collaborative educational environment near Adrian, MI. Your skills will support children's growth, independence, and academic achievement as you develop and deliver personalized therapy plans in partnership with teachers and families.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required Valid and active OT state licensure Prior experience within a school setting or working with pediatric populations preferred Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic programs for students Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Collaborative spirit and positive approach to teamwork with educators, staff, and families Knowledge of current best practices in school-based occupational therapy
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate students' needs and create individualized treatment goals to support success in school activities Work directly with students individually and in groups to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom performance Participate in developing and reviewing IEPs, maintaining accurate records and progress reports Consult with classroom teachers and staff to adapt tasks and modify learning environments for student accessibility Educate families and school teams on effective home and classroom strategies Adhere to professional ethics and standards while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with all school and regulatory procedures As a valued member of this supportive contract role, you'll use your specialized knowledge to help students thrive academically and socially.
