Qualifications & Experience:
Active OT license and registration, with credentials applicable for school settings Prior experience in school-based occupational therapy highly valued Skilled in delivering services via teletherapy platforms and adapting approaches for virtual engagement Experience working in home health or similar healthcare settings preferred Strong collaboration skills, able to work closely with teachers, staff, and families Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students with diverse needs Deliver occupational therapy sessions both in-person and virtually, as assigned Support IEP development and attend meetings as required, providing expertise on student needs and progress Educate school staff and families on OT strategies to promote generalization of skills Accurately document services, maintain records in compliance with policies and regulations Serve as a resource for promoting inclusive participation at school and, when applicable, at home
