Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity providing Occupational Therapy services within a supportive school environment near Everson, WA. This role focuses on empowering middle and high school students—primarily those requiring specialized instruction for self-regulation and fine motor skills development. Benefit from a manageable caseload, working with a maximum of 20 students, many from a Native American background, allowing you to build meaningful, ongoing relationships. You'll work onsite at a single location, collaborating closely with a part-time OT colleague who is on campus for three full days each week. This collaborative atmosphere fosters professional growth and effective solutions for students' diverse needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active OT license in the state Experience and comfort working in a school-based setting, preferably with middle and high school students Demonstrated skills in supporting self-regulation and fine-motor development Understanding or experience working with culturally diverse populations, especially Native American students, is valuable Strong communication and advocacy skills for both students and collaborative interactions
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and execute OT services for up to 20 students, tailored to individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide direct interventions for self-regulation and fine-motor development Collaborate with the onsite OT and other educational team members for comprehensive student support Maintain accurate and compliant documentation as required Participate in IEP meetings and communicate progress with staff and families This contract role offers 30 hours per week on a consistent schedule, giving you the opportunity to focus on impactful, student-centered work within a welcoming academic community.
