Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist (OT) with experience in school settings to provide specialized support to students from Kindergarten through 11th grade. The role requires onsite presence 1-2 days per week at a school location in Lone Tree, CO, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while maintaining flexibility in your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students from K-11th grade, supporting their developmental, sensory, and motor skill needs Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other therapists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct student assessments and document progress in compliance with school and billing client requirements Provide direct, hands-on therapy sessions onsite at the Lone Tree location Participate in team meetings and contribute to creating supportive learning environmentsQualifications and Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with valid credentials to practice in Colorado Experience providing OT services in school settings, preferably across K-11th grade populations Knowledge of educational and therapeutic best practices for pediatric clients Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with educational teams Ability to maintain accurate documentation aligned with billing client standardsLocation:
Lone Tree, Colorado Onsite work 1-2 days per week This contract role suits therapists looking for a part-time commitment while engaging directly with students in an educational environment.
