Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Take your occupational therapy expertise to new heights by supporting students as a full-time OT for the 2026/2027 school year. This contract opportunity is located near Middletown, DE, where you'll collaborate with educators, families, and fellow therapists to make a lasting impact on young learners' growth and success. You'll have the opportunity to draw upon your background in school-based, home health, and healthcare occupational therapy to address a wide range of student needs. In this role, you will contribute meaningfully to each child's educational journey while working in a supportive, dynamic school environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Current OT license for the state of Delaware Experience in school-based, home health, or general healthcare OT settings Strong communication and organizational skills Passion for helping students achieve their maximum potential Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support each student's academic and functional goals Document and maintain records in adherence with school and regulatory requirements Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations for accommodations and modifications
