Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Elevate your career as a dedicated Occupational Therapist working with students in a supportive school environment near Indianapolis, IN. This contract position offers flexibility with either part-time (20 hours weekly) or full-time (40 hours weekly) options, allowing you to align your schedule with your lifestyle needs. You'll work at a single school location and provide essential occupational therapy services to a diverse student population. The exact caseload and age group will be determined prior to assignment to ensure the best match for your expertise.
Key Qualifications:
Active Indiana Professional Occupational Therapy License required Experience in school-based OT settings is highly valued Commitment to collaborative, student-focused care Ability to work independently and adapt to varied caseloads Excellent communication and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy interventions for students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students' functional abilities in the classroom Maintain timely, accurate records and progress notes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions Educate staff and families on strategies to enhance student participation
