This contract role offers a rewarding schedule, focusing on a diverse caseload spanning pre-K through young adult, with a mix of school-based and home-based interventions. This position begins May 26th and continues through June 25, 2026, offering 18 hours per week. You'll spend 16 hours in school environments and provide 2 hours of service in a local home setting. This balanced approach allows for a well-rounded experience and the chance to work closely with students of varying ages and needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program at the master's or doctorate level (ACOTE-approved) Successful completion of fieldwork and clinical training requirements Passing score on the NBCOT national certification exam (with verification sent to Illinois licensing) Ability to pay application and licensure fees and maintain state license with continuing education Current, active Illinois OT license Experience within a school setting is preferred Familiarity with the IEP process is advantageous
