Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in an educational environment. This role focuses on early intervention with preschool-aged children, providing critical services as part of a dedicated team. Qualifications:
Active Louisiana OT or COTA license required Previous experience working with children ages 3-4, preferably in school or early intervention settings Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work onsite and travel locally across the region, with supervision support offered to
COTAs Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to preschool-aged students as part of the Early Interventionist Team Assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions to meet students' developmental needs and IEP goals Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members to foster student growth Accurately document interventions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school and professional standards Work onsite in various locations: 2 days serving schools in the northern part of the area and 2 days in the southern part Participate in relevant meetings, training, and supervision sessions (if applicable)
Role Details:
Contract position for the 2026-2027 school year (August to May)
Part-time:
