Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students' growth and autonomy as an Occupational Therapist serving a diverse TK-12th grade caseload. Working onsite across multiple school sites in the Hemet area, you'll deliver essential occupational therapy services aligned with students' IEP goals from August 6, 2026, through February 12, 2027, with possible extension for the remainder of the school year. This unique position offers the chance to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, making a lasting impact for approximately 55 students.
Key Qualifications:
Active California Occupational Therapy licensure (required) Prior experience participating in and leading IEP meetings Technological proficiency; comfortable using digital platforms and documentation systems Familiarity with SEIS is preferred for tracking and communication Strong collaboration and communication skillsPrimary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to the needs of students spanning TK-12th grade across multiple campuses Work closely with general and special education staff to support access, functional skill development, and participation in educational programs Engage in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations to educational teams and families Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services, progress, and compliance using digital tools Contribute to a positive, team-oriented atmosphere focused on student achievement and well-being With a varied, engaging caseload and a setting focused on collaboration and student-centered interventions, this role provides professional growth and the chance to make a real difference in students' lives.
