Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity providing occupational therapy support in a dynamic educational setting. This contract position focuses on delivering services to students from PreK through high school, including those with social-emotional, behavioral, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) needs. Collaborate onsite with a passionate team, helping students develop essential skills for success in both academic and daily living environments.
Key Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts is required Previous experience in school-based OT strongly preferred Comfort supporting a diverse caseload, including PreK students with social-emotional and behavioral needs, elementary students with ASD, and high school students with ASD Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with educators and staff Ability to adapt interventions to a range of learning and developmental needs
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and implement individualized therapy sessions for students, targeting fine motor, self-regulation, and adaptive skills Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement IEP goals Maintain thorough documentation and progress notes according to district procedures Engage with families and provide resources or strategies for home and classroom carryover Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive educational atmosphere Ensure services are delivered exclusively onsite as required by this assignment This assignment runs from July 6 through August 13, 2026. Work a Monday-Thursday schedule, 8:30 am to 2:30 pm, totaling 22 hours per week. Take the next step to support students' growth and independence in an engaging school environment.
