Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of young learners by providing essential occupational therapy services as part of an Early Interventionist Team. This part-time contract assignment is ideal for an OT or COTA passionate about supporting growth and development in children ages 3-4. Desired Qualifications:
Valid Louisiana license as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Prior experience working with children in early intervention or school-based settings Ability to travel to multiple sites in the area, with 2 days in each region Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and team members Commitment to fostering an inclusive and empowering learning environment
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct occupational therapy services to children ages 3-4, focusing on early intervention Assess and document student needs, progress, and achievement toward individual goals Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including educators and support staff Participate in
IEP/IFSP
meetings and provide input for individualized plans Maintain accurate records and comply with state, local, and school requirements
For COTAs:
engage in guided supervision, ensuring all interventions align with OT best practices
