School Occupational Therapist | Amherst, New Hampshire Soliant - 3.9 Amherst, NH Job Details Part-time | Contract $40 - $58 an hour Benefits Continuing education credits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Qualifications Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This position offers a rewarding opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to support students across Kindergarten through 12th grade during the 2026-2027 school year. The role is based in Amherst, NH, providing essential therapy services within a school setting. This contract position runs from September 1 through June 15, with a caseload spanning all grade levels.
Responsibilities include:
Delivering occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and progress monitoring for students K-12 Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Maintaining detailed documentation in accordance with state and school requirements Participating in team meetings and professional development opportunities as neededQualifications:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy Valid New Hampshire state occupational therapy license Experience working in school-based settings preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff This role offers a schedule of approximately 30 hours per week, spread over four days from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., allowing for a balanced workweek. Compensation ranges from $40 to $58 per hour, commensurate with experience.
