Job Description
Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students as a licensed Occupational Therapist in a supportive school setting near West Jordan, UT. This position offers a part-time schedule of 21.75 hours per week, spread across three days (8:30 AM-3:45 PM), with responsibility for providing essential OT services to approximately 45 students. You'll partner with educators and families to help students achieve developmental and academic goals, all while working on a single campus.
Key Qualifications:
Current OT Professional License issued by the state of Utah (UT). Previous experience or strong interest in school-based occupational therapy. Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized intervention plans for students with diverse needs. Collaborative mindset to support multidisciplinary teamwork. Solid communication and report-writing skills.Role Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to a caseload of 45 students, ensuring documentation meets compliance standards. Conduct assessments to determine specific therapy needs related to each student's educational performance and functional goals. Design and oversee the implementation of individualized therapy interventions, adapting approaches to support success for every child. Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to facilitate student participation, enhance learning environments, and remove barriers. Attend team meetings, contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and provide ongoing progress monitoring.What Awaits You:
