Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting students across multiple school sites near Santa Paula, CA. This full-time, contract role is set to run from August 11, 2026, through December 18, 2026, with the possibility of extension. You'll be empowered to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and collaborate within a supportive and flexible team environment. Your experience and strengths are highly valued—whether you prefer to work with specific grade levels or are comfortable across a range, our team is eager to accommodate your preferences. School-based experience is important for this position, and familiarity with SIRAS is a plus, though not required.
Qualifications:
Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist Experience working in school settings is essential Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills Flexibility regarding grade or age group placements Excellent communication and collaboration abilities SIRAS knowledge is advantageous but not required
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students, supporting educational access and independence Conduct evaluations and develop individualized plans in collaboration with teachers and support staff Adapt sessions to meet a variety of student needs and grade levels, as assigned Communicate progress and recommendations with families and educational teams Stay current with best practices in school-based OT We value your expertise and promote a supportive atmosphere where teamwork and adaptability are encouraged.
