Desired Qualifications:
Active New Mexico state (NMRLD) OT license by the start date NMPED certification (can be pending prior to onboarding) Previous school-based OT experience is a plus, but not required Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to adapt therapeutic strategies for diverse student needs
Role Responsibilities:
Provide targeted and individualized occupational therapy to students in an engaging school environment Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement student goals Assess, plan, and execute interventions for various caseloads, focusing on promoting independence and academic success Document student progress and maintain compliance with all school and regulatory requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a holistic support system for student growth
