Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity working with students as an Occupational Therapist during summer school near Liberty, MO. This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful contribution over the month of June, supporting students' growth and development in an educational setting. With 20-25 hours per week, you can enjoy a fulfilling position that still allows you to balance other commitments throughout the summer.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state Prior experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a school setting Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized therapy plans Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and families Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic educational environment
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs Assess students' abilities and collaborate on the development of individualized intervention plans Attend and participate in team meetings and contribute input on students' progress Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation for all services provided Consult with teachers and staff to support classroom modifications and strategies for student success Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and recommendations This summer contract allows you to make an impact in a supportive atmosphere, working alongside dedicated professionals and energetic students.
