Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding, contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic school setting close to San Bruno, CA. This four-week extended school year (ESY) role is ideal for Occupational Therapists passionate about helping young learners thrive in their educational environments. With a manageable commitment of 20 hours per week from mid-June to mid-July, you'll enjoy the flexibility to balance your work and personal life while making a meaningful impact.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in California Prior experience in a school-based setting or with school-aged children Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, collaborating effectively with educators and families Ability to adapt to diverse student needs in a supportive environment Commitment to fostering students' independence and functional skills
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' needs and develop individualized treatment goals Deliver direct OT services to students according to their IEPs Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to implement therapeutic strategies Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed Provide insight and support to facilitate students' access to the curriculum and classroom environment
