Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Enhance your career and make a meaningful impact by working with students who benefit from supportive physical therapy services. This full-time contract opportunity offers two distinct caseloads: one Early Intervention position lasting 11 months, and one K-12 opening. The role starts August 10, 2026, and concludes June 17, 2027, offering you the chance to work closely with students, families, and professionals throughout the academic year.
Key Qualifications:
Active and valid Physical Therapy license for the state of Maryland (MD PT License required) Previous experience working with school-aged children and/or infants and toddlers preferred Ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong communication and organizational skills Adaptability and passion for supporting student success in a school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess and develop individualized treatment plans for students, focusing on helping them achieve educational and functional goals Deliver direct physical therapy services to children in Early Intervention or K-12 environments, adjusting techniques as needed Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support the carryover of therapy strategies in the classroom and at home Monitor progress, maintain clear documentation, and participate in
IEP/IFSP
