Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Take your Physical Therapy expertise to the next level by contributing to a vibrant educational environment for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity is tailored for dedicated professionals ready to make a difference in the lives of students near Lexington Park, MD. With engaging caseloads that span early intervention and K-12 settings, you'll have the chance to support students' growth and development at several pivotal stages.
Key Qualifications:
Active Physical Therapy license in Maryland (MD PT License required) Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach Ability to thoughtfully design and implement individualized treatment plans Comfort adapting therapeutic strategies for a diverse student population
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services in accordance with
IEP/IFSP
requirements Conduct evaluations and assessments for students in early intervention and K-12 environments Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate student progress Maintain thorough documentation to support compliance and ongoing student success Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of intervention strategies
