Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a direct impact on student development with a rewarding contract opportunity supporting local schools as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Starting August 10th, 2026 and running through June 17th, 2027, this full-time position serves a vibrant educational community near Lexington Park, MD. Contribute your expertise while working in either an Early Intervention 11-month role, or a dynamic K-12 caseload, based on your interests and experience.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Maryland Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) License—required and current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Prior school-based SLP experience highly preferred Strong organizational skills and professional communication Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other specialists
Responsibilities & Duties:
Conduct thorough assessments and deliver targeted therapy interventions to students in need Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with student goals Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of services and progress Engage in regular collaboration with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team planning sessions Support early childhood or K-12 students, depending on assigned caseload
