Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact by joining an Early Intervention team dedicated to supporting children from birth to three years old in their natural environments near Roseburg, OR. This contract opportunity allows you to play a vital role in maximizing each child's potential by delivering high-quality physical therapy support within home settings, community childcare centers, or upon family request, in a specialized Early Intervention facility.
What We're Looking For:
Licensed, credentialed Physical Therapist with experience in school or early childhood settings Comfortable evaluating up to three students during a dedicated one-day-per-week evaluation schedule Prior involvement with Early Intervention (Birth to Three) populations preferred Ability to deliver direct services to both students and parents, offering guidance and instruction tailored to each family's needs Flexibility to provide therapy in a range of settings, including homes and childcare facilities Skilled in supporting the development of educational goals and writing recommendations, as well as accurate data collection Familiarity with Medicaid billing processes preferred Strong communication skills, compassion, and the ability to collaborate effectively with families and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for infants and toddlers Implement direct therapeutic interventions in home, childcare, or designated center environments Guide families on implementing strategies to encourage progress and meet developmental milestones Assist with goal development and maintain clear, timely documentation of progress and outcomes Collaborate with Early Intervention staff to ensure coordinated, child-centered care Enjoy the chance to work with a dedicated team focused on early childhood outcomes, make a significant difference in young lives, and benefit from a flexible, rewarding contract position.
