Job Description
Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Hold a valid Physical Therapy license for the state of Illinois Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program Previous experience in a school setting or comparable pediatric environment preferred Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with students, staff, and families Ability to develop and implement individualized support and therapy plans Organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple caseloads efficientlyWhat You'll Do:
Assess students' motor skills, mobility, and functional needs within the school environment Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans and goals Deliver direct therapy services and consult with educators and parents as part of the IEP team Monitor student progress, document outcomes, and provide regular reports Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote student independence and participation Educate staff and families on strategies and assistive equipment to support students Promote a safe, supportive, and positive environment for all students Several full-time and part-time options are available to fit your schedule preferences and ensure you can maintain a healthy work-life balance, all within a supportive school community.
