Job Description

Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Here's an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students as a part-time physical therapist in a supportive school setting near Winsted, CT. This contract role begins ASAP and runs through June 2026, offering you the chance to work with students from Pre-K through 12th grade, one to two days a week. There's a strong possibility for renewal into the following school year, potentially with increased hours. Your background working in school environments and current certification will be instrumental in supporting student success and enhancing mobility and life skills. You'll collaborate with dedicated staff and have the flexibility of a part-time schedule—all while contributing to a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.
Qualifications:
Current physical therapy license and certification Demonstrated previous experience working in school settings Comfortable working with a diverse population from Pre-K to 12th grade Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
