Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the educational journey of students by providing expert support as a contract School Psychologist. This opportunity near Oglethorpe, GA calls for two dedicated professionals eager to work collaboratively in a school-based environment, making a real difference for children, educators, and families.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience with assessment, consultation, and intervention services in educational settings Strong understanding of behavioral and learning challenges in school-aged children Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and psychoeducational evaluations to identify students' strengths and needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support to students as needed Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote positive student outcomes Offer training and guidance on evidence-based intervention strategies for school staff Maintain accurate and compliant records, upholding confidentiality and professional standards Take advantage of the unique chance to support students' academic and emotional well-being in a welcoming school community.
