Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist supporting high school students in a vibrant educational setting near Maple Park, IL. This assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 14, 2027, offering a consistent weekday schedule from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Put your expertise to work with a manageable caseload of approximately 30 high school students, making a tangible difference in their academic and personal development. As a valued professional, you'll collaborate closely with educators and families, fostering positive outcomes.
Desired Qualifications:
Active School Psychologist licensure for Illinois is required Experience working with high school-age students is preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills Ability to work onsite throughout the assignment Exceptional collaboration and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct student assessments and provide individualized recommendations Deliver direct counseling and intervention services to students Coordinate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and monitor student support plans Contribute to the multi-disciplinary team to ensure students' academic and emotional needs are met Maintain thorough records and documentation per state and district policies Attend meetings, participate in professional development, and support positive school culture This contract assignment lets you impact student success while gaining valuable experience in an engaging school environment.
