Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing vital psychological services in a dynamic school setting. As a dedicated professional, you'll help support student success through comprehensive evaluations, counseling, and consultation with staff and families. This contract opportunity offers an engaging environment and the chance to collaborate with educators and other specialists.
Qualifications:
Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist Master's or higher degree in School Psychology or a closely related field Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Expertise in psychoeducational evaluations, functional behavior assessments, and counseling Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and group assessments to identify students' academic, social, and emotional needs Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and support plans Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments Participate in the development and review of IEPs and Section 504 plans Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and recommendations for student support Stay current with best practices, compliance requirements, and ethical standards in school psychology Enjoy the professional fulfillment that comes with supporting diverse students—and the opportunity to build strong partnerships within an inclusive educational atmosphere.
