Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role dedicated to supporting students' educational journeys as a School Psychologist. In this opportunity, you'll use your expertise to foster positive outcomes within school communities near Holyoke, MA. Your skills in assessment, counseling, and collaboration will be key in shaping a nurturing environment to enhance student well-being and academic growth.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Appropriate state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist Proven experience conducting psycho-educational assessments and creating effective intervention strategies Strong communication skills to engage with students, families, and school personnel Commitment to cultural competence, confidentiality, and ethical standards within school settings Organizational skills to manage reports and schedule efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments for educational planning, eligibility, and intervention Deliver direct support, including counseling and behavioral intervention, to students as needed Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to create individualized education and behavior support plans Participate in IEP, 504, and student support meetings, providing expert guidance rooted in best practices Maintain accurate, timely records and contribute to gathering details that inform educational decisions Support the creation of safe, inclusive learning environments
