Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a dynamic school-based environment where your expertise as a School Psychologist will support K-12 students in achieving academic and personal success. This contract position offers onsite opportunities for professional growth during the 2026-2027 school year with a flexible schedule between 7:30 am and 3:30 pm. You'll engage with students district-wide, providing essential services to a diverse caseload tailored to evolving needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to create safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for educational planning Assist with IEP development, behavioral intervention planning, and implementation of evidence-based practices Offer direct counseling and crisis intervention support for students facing academic, emotional, or social challenges Participate actively in multidisciplinary teams to address student needs and promote positive outcomes Provide consultation and recommendations for classroom strategies, interventions, and accommodations Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory and district guidelinesDesired Skills & Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure (or eligibility) in Indiana Experience working with K-12 student populations in an educational setting Familiarity with assessment tools, IEP process, and behavioral intervention strategies Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work onsite throughout the assignment period Flexible and adaptive approach to changing caseloads and student needsPerks Include:
